I founded Wehrenberg Design Company in 1997 while I was a junior at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. What began during the early years of the commercial web has grown into a long-term design and technology practice built around one idea: clients should be able to rely on the person responsible for their website.
Today, I work directly with businesses, professional firms, nonprofit organizations and agency partners on WordPress website design and development, managed hosting, ongoing maintenance, e-commerce and digital infrastructure. My role often extends beyond building a site. I help clients make practical decisions about platforms, integrations, performance, accessibility, analytics and the many technical details that determine whether a website remains useful after launch.
More than 29 years in this business has given me a long view of what matters. Technologies change constantly. Good communication, sound judgment, careful execution and dependable support do not. I have worked with hundreds of organizations in Springfield and across the country, including direct client relationships as well as long-standing partnerships with advertising and media companies that rely on me for web development and technical support.
I remain based in Springfield and closely connected to the community. I am a Drury University alumnus and have served the university in a number of volunteer and leadership roles, including the Alumni Council and Board of Trustees. I have also been active in Rotary and other community organizations. In 2008, Drury recognized me with its Distinguished Young Alumnus Award, and earlier in my career I was named to Springfield Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.
Wehrenberg Design Company is intentionally personal. Clients work with me directly, and I stay involved from the first conversation through launch and long-term support. That continuity is a significant part of the value I bring to the work.
